There are millions of CareCredit credit cardholders. Some may be in your community and walk into your practice prepared with a way to pay for any dental costs not covered by their benefits. So make sure all patients know you accept CareCredit with practice displays, and by simply asking, “Do you have a CareCredit credit card?” when you check them in for their appointment.

Processing a Care Credit transaction is easy:

1. Go to carecreditprovidercenter.com.
2. Enter your merchant ID.
3. Click the transaction button and select “Purchase.” Then click “Continue.”
4. Select “Submit a purchase transaction in office.” Enter the 16-digit account number expiration date and CVV. Click “Continue.”
5. Complete any blank applicable fields. If the purchase is $200 or more, share the promotional financing options and disclosures by either giving the patient a financing brochure or by using the payment calculator at your custom link.
6. Select the promotional financing option the patient selected and click “Submit.”
